Equipment Trade USA 15 Days Guarantee gives buyers confidence and peace of mind with every purchase. If an item is not materially and accurately described or represented, the buyer may return it for a full refund of the purchase price. To initiate a return, the buyer must notify Equipment Trade USA in writing within three (3) days of receiving the item and no later than ten (10) days from the sale date. The equipment must remain unaltered and may only be used to verify its condition, with usage limited to no more than 5 hours or 60 miles from the recorded reading at the time of sale. In the event of an approved return, the buyer is not responsible for shipping, handling, or freight costs. Due to the nature of our consignment business, partial refunds are not offered.

Coverage is included as part of your purchase, helping ensure a secure and reliable buying experience from start to finish.

Equipment Trade USA has successfully represented and sold more than 900 pieces of equipment through our trusted online marketplace. With professional photography, detailed videos, and comprehensive descriptions, we make every effort to accurately present each item we sell. While used equipment sales may occasionally involve unforeseen issues, we are committed to protecting our buyers and providing a transparent purchasing experience.

In addition to Equipment Trade USA’s own coverage and return policies, buyers are protected through multiple Buyer Protection Programs, including the Equipment Trade USA Buyer Protection Plan. Furthermore, eligible capital asset purchases over $1,000 may qualify for coverage of up to $100,000 under our 15-Day Buy Back Protection Program, giving customers added confidence and peace of mind when making significant equipment investments.

EQUIPMENT TRADE USA Buyer Protection Plan Covers:


1. Secured - Warehousing and storage

2. Bonding - Licensed and Bonded seller (through International Sureties)

3. Equipment Trade USA Coverage - Provides buyers with added confidence and security on qualifying purchases. The purchase, repair, or return transportation of eligible equipment is protected for up to $100,000 under the Equipment Trade USA Business Equipment Purchase Program. This coverage amount applies regardless of the final sale price of the asset, which may exceed the protection limit, helping ensure a safer and more reliable buying experience.

4. Fraud or Loss - Paying for this item and never receiving it.

5. Liens - Liens Protection helps safeguard buyers from purchasing stolen property or equipment with undisclosed liens or legal claims. This coverage is designed to help ensure that buyers can obtain clear and legal ownership of the item with confidence and peace of mind.

6. Material Misrepresentation - Material Misrepresentation Protection helps protect buyers in the event they receive an eligible item that differs significantly from what was described in the listing, including discrepancies in the type, make, or model. Coverage may apply when the reduction in the item’s value due to the misrepresentation exceeds $1,500, subject to applicable coverage terms and limits.

7. Return Shipping - Return Shipping Coverage provides reimbursement of up to $800 for eligible return transportation expenses, when documented by an official invoice from a licensed shipping company. Coverage applies only in authorized return situations and does not apply if the buyer retains possession of the item.

8. Dispute management process through Ne-Netneutrals dispute resolution IFR process.

9. Damaged - Receiving this item with undisclosed damage, provided the cost of necessary repairs exceeds $1,500 (see below).

10. For undisclosed damage, certain restrictions apply. The cost of repair must exceed $1,500. The program only covers damages which prevent the equipment from functioning, not defects or damage that are cosmetic or are not critical to operation of the equipment.

11. Cargo Insurance - When shipped via EQUIPMENT TRADE USA approved partners. Up to $500,000 coverage (deductible may apply).

12. Support - Customer service and logistics support.

What is not covered in the Plan:

1. Buyer's remorse.

2. Regular maintenance.

3. Consumables - fluids, batteries, lights, belts, hoses, tires, brakes, bulbs, starters, alternators, Freon, filters and other consumables.

4. Any incidentals, including but not limited to travel costs, fuel, time away, and opportunity costs.

5. Normal wear and tear (including but not limited to rust, dents, scratches, minor leaks, etc.) or cosmetic damage which does not impair the operability of the item.

6. Electrical and functional problems or disconnections (wiring, control boxes, hydraulic leaks) caused in transit or shipping.

7. Any damage or defect that was explained or shown within the auction prior to purchase, or (if the buyer or buyer's agent picked up the item from the seller in person) that could have been noticed upon reasonable inspection prior to shipping.

8. Conditions that can be identified only through the operation of a machine on a job site or under load capacity - For example digging, pulling, and lifting, etc.

9. Operating the machine through the full range of speeds and functions required to evaluate all forward and reverse gears.

10. Use of diagnostic or test equipment to evaluate characteristics such as engine compression.

11. Any repairs or alterations made to the item after the auction end date, which were not authorized by EQUIPMENT TRADE USA or the third party provider of the Business Equipment Purchase Protection program.

EQUIPMENT TRADE USA Payment Procedure

1. Unless otherwise stated above, full payment is due within 3 calendar days after the close of sale (for example, if an sale ends Tuesday, payment is due by close of business Friday).

2. If an item is unpaid after 3 calendar days, the item may no longer be available for purchase and a Non-Paying Bidder alert will be filed.

A. For Winning Sale between $5,000 to $15,000 we accept:
- Bank Wire Transfers

B. For Winning Sale under $1,500 we accept:
- Bank ACH Transfers
- Bank Wire Transfers
- Bank/Cashier's Checks
- PayPal
- Credit Cards (via PayPal)

We do not accept cash in any amount.



All items must be shipped, picked up, or removed within 10 days of the end of sale (unless pre-approved via email).
Items left after this time will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee. The buyer will forfeit the item -- and any payments made -- when storage fees reach either the sale price of the item or a time period of 30 days from the sale of the item, whichever comes first. No money will be returned for forfeited items. Without notice, items are subject to relisting immediately upon forfeiture. For items that have incurred storage fees, electronic payment of the fees due will be required for the item to be shipped or released for pickup. If you have reason for a delayed pickup, please contact us in advance to get an estimate of the total additional cost.
